In our experiment, eco-mesh bags did not work effectively in preserving the freshness of vegetables as we hoped. Therefore, we decided to try a hack we saw on Instagram. We compared dill stored in a mason jar with dill stored in a plastic bag, two weeks apart (changing the water daily). The lid of the mason jar was not tightly closed and remained loose.
The results were significant: the dill in the plastic bag wilted and turned yellow, while the dill in the mason jar remained fresh and even appeared to have grown.
